Why Insulated Tools Matter
Importance of Insulating Technology
Working near exposed energized conductors demands insulated tools. Federal standards mandate their use for worker protection inside restricted and limited approach boundaries.
2 Layers for a Reason
Cementex 1000V rated tools use an exclusive insulating material with contrasting colour layers — orange over yellow — for instant visual identification. If the yellow layer becomes visible, the tool must be immediately removed from service.
Insulated tools serve as secondary protection and should never replace other required PPE. Always de-energize lines and equipment when possible before beginning work.
Composite Technology
By eliminating 95% of all conductive material and utilising cutting-edge technology, Cementex Composite Driver Tools are strong, lightweight, durable, and — most importantly — safe. These drivers carry a lifetime warranty.

Restricted Approach Boundary
A distance from an exposed energized conductor within which there is an increased likelihood of electric shock due to arc over combined with inadvertent movement.
Limited Approach Boundary
A distance from an exposed energized conductor or circuit part within which a shock hazard exists for personnel.
